The International Travel Clinic is the most comprehensive travel medicine and immunization clinic in the state of Utah. Before you travel, make an appointment at least one month ahead with one of our well-trained staff. You will be advised on the most current travel and health information. The most appropriate immunizations and travel medications will be recommended based on your destination, duration of travel, activities, and medical conditions. Your will receive your immunizations at the time of your pre-travel appointment along with a comprehensive booklet of travel risks and advice.
After returning home, should you develop acute or presistent symptoms; such as fevers above 101oF, make an appointment with one of our board-certified infectious disease physicians to be evaluated for evidence of travel-related diseases. The extend of your work-up will depend on your travel itinerary, history of disease while traveling and symptoms that are present after travel. Long-term travelers are likely to benefit from routine follow-up medical evaluation.
