Clinical Specialty:Arrhythmia management
Cardiac electrophysiology
Catheter ablation

Research Interests: My research interests involve the clinical evaluation of management of cardiac arrhythmias, primarily supraventricular tachycardias and ventricular fibrillation. I have an ongoing project assessing AV nodal function and mapping exit sites of retrograde AV nodal conduction during rAV nodal reentry tachycardia. I am involved in several multicenter studies of treatment of both supraventricular and ventricular tachycardias. Other projects include clinical evaluation of defibrillation energy requirements in patients undergoing implantation of cardioverter/defibrillators and the relationship of induction of ventricular fibrillation by shock on T-wave to clefibrillation energy requirement.
