The BMT ProgramThe Blood/Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Myeloma Program was first established in 1990 at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics. In 1994, the pediatric program of the BMT program began at Primary Children's Medical Center and in 1997 these programs along with the LDS Hospital evolved into the Utah Blood and Marrow Transplant Program. The program, under the Division of Hematology and medical direction of Dr. Guido Tricot, provides consultation, treatment and care to children and adults with various diseases where blood and marrow transplantation may be a beneficial or curative treatment option. |
